Wagering Calculator

Editor: Updated

This wagering calculator turns a stated bonus requirement into a counted wagering target and an estimate of the remaining stakes. It handles three bases: bonus only, deposit plus bonus, and actual promotional free-spin winnings.

Use the terms for the exact promotion. The tool calculates arithmetic from your inputs; it cannot confirm eligibility, approve a withdrawal or predict how much money a session will lose. It is not a reason to continue playing.

Calculate the requirement from the offer’s terms

Calculate a wagering requirement

Use one currency throughout. Dollar amounts below are formatted as AUD. Enter the basis and multiplier stated in the specific coupon.

Credited wagering means progress already counted by the casino, after contribution adjustments. It is not your current balance or deposit. Only include a stake that the promotion permits.

Enter amounts in a single currency throughout. The display uses AUD formatting and performs no currency conversion. If an offer uses a different currency, do not mistake the output label for a conversion into Australian dollars.

Leave the stake field empty unless you need a purely arithmetic round count. If using it, enter the total permitted cost per paid round. A base stake shown next to a feature purchase may not be the full cost of that transaction.

Choose what the multiplier applies to

Bonus only

The amount awarded as the bonus is multiplied. The qualifying deposit is not included in this calculation. Do not choose this basis simply because it gives a smaller target.

Deposit plus bonus

Add the qualifying deposit and allocated bonus, then apply the multiplier. Use this option only when the terms state that both amounts form the wagering basis.

Free-spin winnings

Use actual winnings credited from the promotional spins. A spin count is not a monetary amount, and it cannot be entered as though it were cash.

The phrase “30× wagering” is incomplete without its basis. A bonus, combined balance and spin winnings can produce different totals even under the same multiplier. If the definition is missing, obtain the applicable terms rather than borrowing the meaning from another campaign.

Read bonus terms explained for the wider conditions and free spins bonuses for the difference between promotional spins and features triggered during a game.

Three hypothetical calculations

Example 1: bonus only

A fictional A$20 bonus with a 30× bonus-only requirement produces a counted target of A$20 × 30 = A$600. At 100% contribution and with no credited progress, A$600 of eligible stakes would be required by that calculation.

This is turnover, not an instruction to deposit A$600 and not a forecast of the money needed to finish.

Example 2: deposit plus bonus

A fictional A$20 deposit and A$40 bonus at 30× combined wagering produce a basis of A$60 and a target of A$1,800. If A$300 has already been credited, A$1,500 of counted progress remains.

At 50% contribution, the remaining eligible stakes would be A$1,500 ÷ 0.50 = A$3,000. At a permitted A$2 stake, that represents 1,500 paid rounds arithmetically, without predicting their outcomes.

Example 3: promotional spin winnings

If fictional promotional spins produce A$12 in actual winnings and the terms require 20× those winnings, the target is A$240. With A$40 already credited and 25% contribution, the remaining stakes calculation is (A$240 − A$40) ÷ 0.25 = A$800.

All three examples are invented for explanation. They are not current offers, assurances of completion or claims about a casino’s contribution schedule. Our low wagering guide explains why a headline multiplier alone is insufficient.

Contribution changes how much of a stake counts

A stated 100% contribution means the whole eligible stake counts towards the target. At 50%, each A$1 of eligible stakes contributes A$0.50 of progress. At 0%, that game cannot advance the counter under the stated rule; the calculator rejects a zero contribution.

Enter progress already credited by the operator, after contribution adjustments. Do not put your deposit, current balance or unadjusted stakes into that field. Mixing those quantities can make the requirement appear smaller than it is.

  • Target: wagering basis × multiplier.
  • Remaining progress: target minus credited progress, with a minimum of zero.
  • Remaining stakes: remaining progress divided by contribution as a decimal.
  • Paid rounds: remaining stakes divided by the optional permitted stake, rounded up.

The result rounds required stakes upward to the next cent and round counts upward to a whole round. It assumes the same contribution and stake throughout. Switching games, changing modes or breaching a promotion’s restrictions can invalidate that assumption.

The odds and RTP guide explains why turnover differs from deposits. Replayed awards can contribute to total stakes; the calculator does not simulate those awards or establish the balance required to reach a target.

A completed calculation is not an approved cashout

A zero remainder means only that the entered credited progress meets or exceeds the calculated target. A missing basis, incorrect contribution or separate account rule can still make the calculation inapplicable. Excess progress produces a reminder to check the operator’s actual counter.

Read the expiry, maximum permitted wager, eligible games, withdrawal cap, balance-removal conditions and cancellation rules. A mathematically correct target cannot decide whether a specific transaction complies. Consult withdrawal limits and account verification separately.

Neither a lower multiplier nor a smaller round count proves that an offer is profitable. Do not increase spending to meet a deadline or recover losses. Our responsible gambling page provides support information.

Wagering calculator FAQs

What does the wagering calculator calculate?

It calculates a counted wagering target, subtracts credited progress and adjusts the remaining stakes for the entered game contribution. An optional stake gives an arithmetic round count.

Which wagering basis should I choose?

Use the basis stated in the exact promotion: bonus only, deposit plus bonus, or actual promotional spin winnings. Do not choose a basis simply because it gives a smaller result.

Can I enter the number of free spins as the winnings amount?

No. Enter actual monetary winnings credited from those promotional spins. A spin count is not a cash amount.

How does 50% contribution affect the calculation?

Only half of an eligible stake counts. Divide remaining counted progress by 0.50 to calculate the remaining eligible stakes under that assumption.

What does already credited wagering mean?

It is progress already counted by the operator after contribution adjustments. It is not your deposit, balance or unadjusted stakes.

Why does the calculator reject 0% contribution?

A game with 0% contribution cannot advance the requirement. A finite remaining-stakes calculation cannot be made by dividing by zero.

Is remaining wagering the amount I need to deposit?

No. It is a stakes calculation, not a deposit requirement, loss forecast or guarantee that any starting balance will complete the target.

Does the calculator convert currencies?

No. It uses AUD display formatting but performs no conversion. Use a single currency consistently and do not treat the output label as proof of an exchange.

Does a zero remainder guarantee a withdrawal?

No. It only compares the target and progress you entered. Eligibility, expiry, wager restrictions, withdrawal caps, balance rules and verification remain separate.

Why are stakes and round counts rounded upward?

Stakes are rounded up to the next cent and round counts up to a whole round so the displayed arithmetic does not round below the calculated requirement. This does not predict outcomes.
